Gareth Nash - Director

Gareth has 20 years experience of co-operative, social enterprise development and financing having managed leading organisations in this field. Until late 2007, he was a Director of Co-operatives UK (the apex organisation for co-operatives in the UK) and is chair of the North West Co-operative and Mutual Council.

Gareth manages the ADAPT (EU funded) “Enterprising Services” project on co-operative options for Public Sector services and was part of a team advising the successful buy-out of Universal Bulk Handling International (100 staff and 5 years trading). Gareth also worked on culture change with Oldham Community Leisure – a multi-stakeholder co-operative with almost 300 staff.
