Founded in 2002, Co-operative and Mutual Solutions Ltd is a leading UK consultancy providing business advice to co-operatives and social enterprises. CMS is a worker co-operative. We have a team of specialists with wide ranging skills and knowledge of good practice nationally and internationally.  All our advisors are SFEDI accredited.

Co-operative and Mutual Solutions works mainly in the North West of England: Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside, but we currently have a significant portfolio of work in the North East, Yorkshire and Humberside, Wales and Scotland. We have worked as far afield as the Czech Republic, Bahrain, and the USA. We have just opened a new office base in Wigton in Cumbria offering a Hot Desking facility for flexible working space on an informal basis to encourage entrepreneurship and business development in the local area.
